Our course is systematic training in mindfulness meditation. The primary intention is to provide a structured pathway to help you develop more freedom from suffering, to enhance your wellbeing and sense of connection with life.
Mindfulness is about wakefulness, the proposition is that we spend much of our lives lost in reactivity and habitual patterns that often perpetuate our suffering. By learning to pay attention in a non-reactive and non-judgmental way, we can debunk some of the self-referential rhetoric and reactivity and experience a greater sense of ease.
Our evidence-based 8-week course is based on the renowned Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, taught in leading institutions worldwide, developed through a cumulation of thousands of hours of clinical practice, research and personal experience. There is a plethora of research to suggest that this particular pathway of learning meditation can offer a great deal of benefit.
We will spend our time together pouring energy into your innate inner resources, so that you may be able to navigate life complexities with a little more ease.
All courses include 8 x 2 hour sessions, plus a retreat day (regularly held on the weekend), intimate group tuition, printed workbooks, and MP3s for home practice.
No previous meditation experience is necessary, all people are welcome, including you.
